We are a mechanical engineering consultancy built on 29 years of lessons learned in vibration, dynamics, finite element analysis (FEA), environmental testing, and failure investigation. Our purpose is to solve tough problems with evidence-led engineering — analysis, measurement, and test — so designs are reliable in real environments.

Who We Are
Unlike many acoustics consultancies, our roots are in mechanical engineering and structural dynamics: eigenvalues, eigenvectors, vibration, fatigue, and test correlation. Over time, clients asked for noise assessments — today we apply acoustics where it strengthens vibration control, compliance, and reliability.
Our Story
During certification testing on electrical distribution boxes for the Falcon 7X — vibration, shock, temperature, humidity, sand, dust, fungus — the hardware emerged intact, robust, and compliant. That moment captured our philosophy: systems must remain reliable under their environments — not just pass on paper.

Paul Schmitz, MBA CEng MIMechE MIoA — Chartered Mechanical and Acoustical Engineer with 29 years across aerospace, oil & gas, manufacturing, industrial, and research. Began in 1996 at a university-affiliated consultancy (instrumentation, structural testing, fracture mechanics, simulation); research at the ISVR, University of Southampton; further study at Cranfield School of Management.
